Formerly of the Mentor Kolektiv, Des-C’s voice sold the groups massive success ‘Pasand’ and Rishi Rich’s single ‘Majajane. In 2007, he co-wrote the biggest selling download ‘Move Your Body’ produced by award winning trio, Shakar, Ehsaan & Loy, for the Bollywood gangster flick 'Johnny Gadaar'. In 2008 and 2009, he went on to feature on 2 consecutive major chart hits with D-Boy on ‘Tu Bataja’ and D-Boy and Sef on, ‘Need A Hero’.
STRATEGY & MARKETING
To position Des-C as one of the UK’s number 1 Panjabi and Hindi language vocalist. We were also commissioned to build his profile with tastemakers and launch his debut album for the
UK territory.
We launched a new element to Des-C’s brand as an act with a live band made up of musicians all of whom were mostly 18-21 years of age. ‘Team Des-C’ have been introduced to the live music scene and have been showcasing their profile with shows across the UK. We also commissioned a new music video, photo shoot and live album launch event for the album project.
Des-C is now working on a European live music circuit and Indian national tour later this year.
