Kindred Spirit, a groundbreaking live music and spoken word company led a vanguard and were noted as leaders in the scene. Founded by Ivor Novello winner Michelle Escoffery, it established itself as a trusted brand that has a non-elitist ethos, thus sharing a regular following of both music fans and industry peers alike.
It was one of the first few places that premiered British talents including, Bembe Segue, Corrine Bailey Rae, Mark De Clive Lowe, Nate James, Daniel Bedingfield, Kevin Mark Trail, Shaun Escoffery and Don-E to mention a few.
Breaking boundaries on the spoken word front, Kindred Spirit opened doors for wordsmiths including Zena Edwards, AmeN NoiR, ‘BBC Slam Champion’ Kat Francois, Tugg S.T.A.R. and European ‘Slam Champion’ shortMAN.
STRATEGY & MARKETING
We worked to build the profile of the brand within specialist music press and digital awareness of the events. As part of the bigger picture we successfully launched an additional 3 newly branded events that stemmed from the larger Kindred Spirit Nights and launched a new album for the collective.
